I Candy Design (156 Teaticket Hwy, Falmouth; 774-392-1515) is a new interior design studio founded by Donna Stearns, the former owner of Sundries Furniture. Stearns chose the unique name of her new venture to reflect her longstanding belief that every space needs a bit of eye candy – something of visual interest in each room that adds a little wow factor. The interior design business offers a range of services, from whole house and single room interior design to lighting design and color consultations, custom window treatments and furnishings. “We’re happy to help with any size project,” says Stearns.
Located on the second floor of the former Sundries Furniture location (now Harbor Homes), the studio carries many of the well-known lines formerly available at Sundries, including fabrics from Thibault and Duralee, lighting from Ralph Lauren and Visual Comfort and furniture from Miles Talbott and Lee Industries. Open and airy, the studio also acts as a relaxing setting where Stearns can meet with clients to collaborate on interior design projects and home décor selections like wall coverings, fabric, furniture and more.
