Longfellow Design Build

578 Main St., Chatham; 508-945-1710

Stepping into Longfellow Design Build’s Chatham showroom is a pleasingly eye-opening experience. Filled with display vignettes, like working kitchens, baths, storage options and custom cabinetry work, the showroom inspires while informing consumers about the different styles, materials, products and elements available for their home remodel.

One of the more arresting features in the showroom is a butler’s pantry that uses a custom-crafted barn door entry. The butler’s pantry includes a gorgeous two-inch black walnut countertop with a marine oil finish. Also perfect for mining ideas for your next remodel are examples of linen cabinets, built-in desks, a wet bar, wine cellar, even customized storage solutions for fishing rods and boating gear. You’ll find Longfellow’s own fully custom fine cabinetry work, too, featuring furniture-grade lumber, dovetail cabinets and drawers, built-in plate holders, pull-out shelves, touch-latch/soft-close doors and LED lighting.

Additionally, there is a selection of traditional as well as more unique countertop materials and finishes, from a stunning 2 ¼-inch black walnut countertop with a marine oil finish to Dekton, a sophisticated blend of glass, porcelain and quartz. Other countertop materials on display include Baikal-colored quartzite with a leather finish, cold cast zinc and beige Marinace polished granite, a natural stone with petrified pebbles of all shapes and sizes ingrained into each slab.

“There is nothing like this showroom on Cape Cod,” says Mark Bogosian, Longfellow’s owner. “We spared no expense in creating a  useful resource for homeowners using unique, high-end finishes that speak to a Cape Cod sensibility and lifestyle.”
